His controversial statements have once again brought yoga guru and political activist Baba Ramdev in news; this time he has targetted the Padma awards.
He is of the opinion that those who have influence in the political circles often end up winning the Padma awards.
Ramdev siad that there are good poeple as well, but there are a number of people who do massive lobbying for it also.
According to the saffron crusader, lobbying for the awards are a well known fact in the country.
The BJP politely refuted the accusation and stated that the Padma Awards should not be politicize as it represent the country.
