Prime Minister Narendra Modi has
accused the Congress Party of telling lies and misleading the people of
Jharkhand. PM launched this tirade at the Congress party in his election rally
in Dumka, Jharkhand.
"Congress doesn't even know
the magnitude of the tribal people who stay in the nation. They never thought
of working for them. Those against us are short of issues to criticize us. They
wonder what to say, because we are devoted to serving the people. Congress
holds a meeting every evening and thinks about what lies to spread, how to
mislead the voters," Modi told the crowd.
Modi did not stop there, he accused
the previous governments of looting the state coffers and resources. He urged
the public to vote for the BJP to ensure development in the state.
"It is the development of
the tribal communities that will lead to the development of the nation.
Jharkhand has so much coal that you can remove darkness from all of India. If
the previous governments did not work for the welfare of the people, what were
they doing? They were looting you all," he spoke in his usual style.
"Do not give another chance
to the people who have wronged you. If you do they will only wrong you more,
punish them and they might get a lesson. Jharkhand is 14 years old now, when
one is 14 years old care for them is intensified and this election will lay the
foundation for Jharkhand for the next 100 years," he added eloquently.
The Election Commission said that
the fourth phase of the five-phase election saw a voter turnout of 61.5% and no
incident of violence was reported from the election zone.
The final phase of election in
the state is going to be held on 20th December and the counting will take place
on the 23rd of the same month.
